Beverly Martin

Beverly Darlene Tiffany Martin was born on September 22, 1929 in Greene County, Iowa to Murray and Mabel (Jenkins) McComb. She graduated from Rippey High School in 1947. For 19 years she worked as a waitress at Dahl's Food Store in Des Moines. She met Raymond Tiffany and they were married on December 24, 1947. She later married Walter Martin in July of 1974.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, going to rummage sales, traveling with a special friend Bill, collecting wind chimes and sun catchers and loved going to the Iowa State Fair.
She was preceded in death by parents, Murray and Mabel McComb and a son, Jeffery Chandler Tiffany.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Zimmerman and husband Lon of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Ann Hertz and husband Jeff of Des Moines, a son Charles Andrew Kaufman and Denise Moore, Perry, IA and a sister, Marjorie Benshoof of Perry, IA; grandchildren: Jack and Chad Zimmerman, Nicolle Juarez, Travis Kaufman, Dallas Kaufman, Christie Browning, Dalton Hertz, Tony Moore, Jeff Moore and Jessica Peterson, great grandchildren; Cole and Sean Zimmerman, and Keilyn Juarez.
Graveside service services for Beverly, 76, of Grimes, formerly of Rippey were held Friday, September 22 at the Rippey Cemetery. Visitation was September 21 at Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Beverly died on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
