The Rippey United Methodist Church will host "Fun and Fellowship" for five Tuesday evenings from 6-7 pm starting February 23.  Free soup with salad, bars and beverages will be provided.  Meal conversation with specific questions will be encouraged around the tables.  Free child care will be provided following the meal.   All in the community are invited and encouraged to attend.
 
Friends of Rippey will host a soup luncheon from 11 am until 1pm at the Rippey Public Library.  A variety of soups will be available.  The FOR group will take donations to create matching funds for a grant which would supply the library with new computers for the use of the community.
 
A Valentine party was held on Saturday, February 13 at the Rippey Library.  Twenty children and adults attended.   Stories were read, a craft was made and refreshments were served by Librarian Toni Roberts.
